Why LIFELINE?

Anxiety and depression are prevalent in the United States and around the globe. Studies show that 1 in 5 adults live with a mental health condition, and 57% of these individuals are not receiving the care they need. Stigma, limited financial resources, and lack of access to quality care are among many of the factors that inhibit those suffering from anxiety, depression, and other mental health struggles from receiving proper support.

LIFELINE Support Groups seek to stand in the gap with people who are navigating what can be a lonely, painful journey by providing safe spaces for people to share their stories and receive support. LIFELINE is not therapy; rather, a support system that is freely available to anyone struggling with anxiety and/or depression who simply needs to feel less alone. Ultimately, we hope LIFELINE becomes a conduit of healing through community and support.

Our Mission

The mission of LIFELINE Support Groups is to establish peer-led communities of individuals navigating their mental health, providing a safe space to share, listen and heal together.
