If you're interested in attending a LIFELINE Support Group but have a few questions about what to expect, check out some of our FAQs.

  • Who can attend a LIFELINE Support Group?

    LIFELINE Support Groups are for anyone age 18 or older who find themselves in need of community and support in their mental health journey. Anyone struggling with anxiety, depression or other mental health challenges are welcome to attend. Friends of those who are struggling are welcome to attend a meeting as an additional means of support.

  • Does it cost anything to attend a meeting?

    LIFELINE Support Groups are offered free of charge to anyone wishing to attend.

  • Do I need to sign up to attend a meeting?

    There is no need to sign up to attend a LIFELINE Support Group. However, if you would like to reach out to the Group Facilitator in advance, please contact us and we can connect you. 

  • Are meetings confidential?

    LIFELINE Support Groups meetings are confidential. Each new attendee is required to sign a confidentiality agreement at their first meeting. Your story is safe here.

  • What can I expect at a meeting?

    When you attend a LIFELINE Support Group meeting, you can expect to find people who are walking through similar struggles who simply need a space to share their story. Meetings begin with a series of Check-In Questions and conclude with a LIFELINE Pillar Focus or a testimony from a group member. Attendees are welcome to share as much of their stories as they feel comfortable.
